Cassiobury Park

Cassiobury Park is a large park of 250 acres in Watford, Hertfordshire. It has open grass areas and woodland, sports facilities, a huge paddling pool, other kids attractions and a nature reserve.
What is there to do at Cassiobury Park?
The paddling pools have been recently redeveloped and they have splash fountains. Plus a water play park with 30 state-of-the-art splash pads, water jets and fountains, 2 new paddling pools and changing rooms plus toilets are nearby.
There is a miniature railway at the park that has brought joy to families for over 60 years. Tickets are £2 a ride and under 2s can ride for free, . About half of the park is wooded with ancient woodland that dates back to 1600. There are a large number of ancient trees and wildflower meadows.
There is a large play area with swings, a zip wire, trampolines, slides and a granite stone maze. The Cha Cha Cha Playground is suitable for smaller children and toddlers, up to the age of 6. Also at the park, there are bungee trampolines, a miniature railway and a bouncy castle at a small additional cost. You can use one of the five football pitches, have a game of cricket, tennis, basketball or even bowls.

There is a cafe serving hot and cold food and drinks, there are other restaurants and places to eat in the local area. You are welcome to bring a picnic.

The park is free to visit. Some facilities such as the train may have an additional charge but most facilities are free.

There is free, on-site parking, although this is quite limited. They open up a larger overflow car park in the summer.
