Things to do at The Wave Coventry review
The Wave is an award-winning indoor waterpark located in the heart of Coventry, West Midlands. There are 6 exhilarating water slides, a wave pool, lazy river, splash zone and more.
The waterpark has something for everyone making it a great family-friendly place to visit. The Crestar slide has two giant spheres that use lightning effects plus other surprises. The Cascade is a fully enclosed slide that sweeps riders through large sections of coloured light.
The Rapids are best described as a water-coaster. You can ride alone or with someone else. You are hurled uphill by powerful jets before dropping down through tight corners and tunnels. All three of these slides have a minimum height of 1.2metres.
The Riptide is a tyre ride where you are launched almost 90 degrees down an angled slope. The Torrent is a truly scary ride where the floor disappears beneath your feet and you are then plunged straight down. The Cyclone is one of their fastest slides where riders are sent around an open bowl before being dropped into the pool below you. Again all three slides have a minimum height of 1.2metres.
The wave pool is great fun with bigger waves the further in you go. If all of the slides are too much for you you will love relaxing on the lazy river. The Reef is a fun splash zone perfect for the younger visitors with mini slides, tipping buckets, jets and fountains.
Please note – Most places may still require you to pre-book online in advance. Some venues also still have certain areas closed for safety reasons. Please check their website and/or social media pages before visiting.
