Things to do at Thornton Hall Country Park review
Thornton Hall Country Park is a family-friendly farm park with animal encounters, play areas and more. It is an award-winning family run park near Thornton-in-craven, North Yorkshire. They even have camping pitches so you can stay overnight.
The farm has a great range of daily activities so make sure you find out what’s on and plan your day accordingly. They have animal petting sessions, egg collecting, farmyard tours, lamb and calf feeding (seasonal), paddock walk, pony grooming and pig brushing.
They have a great range of animals to meet at the farm including llamas, goats, alpacas, ponies, pigs, birds and more. They have indoor and outdoor play areas plus huge jumping pillows.
There are also some fun rides at the farm including a 5-minute barrel ride where you are pulled by a quad bike around the meadow (£2 per barrel). Pony rides (£2.50 each). Junior quad bikes (£5 each). Plus a Wizzick Safari which is a 25-minute safari with fabulous views of 200 acres of farmland, woodland, quarry and deer park (£3.50 pp).
The farm park hosts a great range of annual family-friendly events.
Covid 19 – Please check the website or social media of an attraction before visiting. Many places may be open differently and some remain closed. Reviews do not mention all of these changes or possible price changes. Most places still require you to pre-book online in advance.
