Thorpe Park Resort
Thorpe Park Resort is one of the largest theme parks in the UK. It is owned by Merlin Entertainment and is located near Chertsey in Surrey. It has a great number of rides and attractions with something to suit all ages.
What is there to do at Thorpe Park Resort?
This is the theme park in the UK for thrill rides. There are many thrilling roller coaster rides (with height restrictions) including The Swarm which reaches speeds of almost 60mph, Nemesis Inferno with 750 metres of twisted track, Samurai which spins you around 60ft above the ground and many more.
There are rides that will get you wet and take you high in the air. There are also plenty of rides for the younger visitor including a Tug boat swing boat, a banana ride, a mini rollercoaster, teacups and more.
Other attractions include a man-made beach, an Angry Birds 4D experience, a Water Park, Escape rooms and a Black Mirror labyrinth. If you’re feeling really brave there’s even a Derren Brown Ghost Ride and a Walking Dead ride. The Theme Park also has Shark Cabins that you can stay in.

There are plenty of places to purchase hot and cold food and drinks, including sit-down meals and kiosks. You are welcome to bring a picnic although please read their website for further information as there are rules and regulations.

Prices online start from £35 per person. On the day tickets can rise to £50 per person. Under 3s are free.
