Zip World Manchester
Zip World Manchester has two Treetop Treks (a full trek and a mini trek) plus a Treetop Nets. They provide outdoor adventures and a great day out with the family, located in Heaton Park. Plus a great new Forest Tubing adventure.
Their Full Trek is a high ropes adventure with 20 jaw-dropping aerial challenges and 14 thrilling zip lines through woodland. The experience lasts for 2 hours and obstacles include balance bars, swinging logs and bridges. Children from 7 years of age can take part.
The Mini Trek is a great next step: a lower-level aerial course with around eight obstacles and five zip lines, perfect for ages 5 and up and giving little adventurers a taste of flying through the trees before trying bigger treetop challenges. The experience lasts for an hour.
Treetop nets is a unique aerial play area high up among the trees where netted walkways, bouncy chambers and tunnels create a giant, treetop playground. Kids (and adults!) can clamber, bounce and explore across interconnected nets, make their way through treehouses, play in ball zones and whoosh down multiple slides. All suspended above the woodland floor in a way that feels like a mix of climbing frame and adventure park. It’s an active, hands-on way to enjoy the outdoors and let little ones burn off energy while moving through a fun, physical course up in the trees.
Forest Tubing brings a brand‑new burst of outdoor fun to Heaton Park, offering the UK’s longest outdoor tubing slides for families and thrill‑seekers. Kids aged 4+ (minimum height 1m) can zoom down twisting woodland lanes in giant inflatable rings, with swoops, spins and gentle bumps that keep the excitement high but family‑friendly. Sessions last around an hour, with a 100kg max weight limit and a simple footwear rule: trainers or boots only. Race your friends and family with unlimited goes (within 1 hour) across two epic woodland slides – one measuring 77m and the other 88m.
