Upton House and Gardens

Upton House and Gardens are a National Trust property located near Banbury, Oxfordshire. It is a country house that was built in the late 17th Century and was later remodelled in the 1930s.

The house houses a world-renowned art collection and fine Chinese porcelain. There are world-class paintings by Stubbs, Hogarth, Bosch and more. The owner gifted the house, garden and collections to the National Trust and you can explore many of the rooms and his collections today.

There are dramatic terraced gardens that were designed in the 1930s by Kathleen Lloyd Jones with an orchard, mirror pool, woodland walk and more. The woodland is a haven for wildlife and a great place for little ones to run wild. They host a number of annual events, including trails for children.

Free for members of the National Trust. Adult standard tickets are £15, children £7.50, under 5s are free and family tickets are available.
