Things to do at Watermouth Family Theme Park and Castle review
Watermouth family theme park and castle is one of the West Country’s premier family tourist attractions located in Watermouth, near Ilfracombe, Devon. It is a unique and magical experience for all the family.
You can explore the castle which has antique pier slot machines, toys, games and many strange curios. There are some dungeon labyrinths if you’re brave enough. There are also several rooms set out to demonstrate what life would have been like in Victorian times. Outdoors there is a Mighty Mortier fountain show which is a synchronised display of water and light.
There are plenty of rides including a lazy river ride, carousel, swing boats, sea lion water-go-round and cooking pots. Plus a Thunder luge toboggan run, shadow barrels, snake tube slide, aviator ride and mystical water garden play. There is also a large adventure playground.
You can enjoy a walk around the landscaped gardens, a game of crazy golf and even crazy snooker. Plus there is a maze and gnome land. This is a secret world of the little people. There are many different cute gnome displays.
Please note – Most places may still require you to pre-book online in advance. Some venues also still have certain areas closed for safety reasons. Please check their website and/or social media pages before visiting.
