West Lodge Farm Park

West Lodge Farm Park, also known as West Lodge Rural Centre has lots to do. It is located in the Desborough area of Northamptonshire.
What is there to do at West Lodge Farm Park?
The farm has a wide range of animals, including sheep, cows, pigs, ducks, geese, rabbits, guinea pigs, turkeys and chickens and you may even be lucky enough to spot the farm peacock taking a wander past the picnic tables! Kids can take part in animal petting sessions with rabbits, guinea pigs, chicks and ducklings.
Throughout the day there are regular barrel rides (included in the admission price) and you don’t want to miss the piglet racing at lunchtime! For £2 each child can have a ride on one of their three ponies. The park is set in the beautiful Northamptonshire countryside and there are a variety of marked walks around the farm, ranging from 500 metres to 3 kilometres in length. Something for everybody plus they are perfect for families to follow with coloured arrows.
The farm boasts a fantastic indoor play barn with bridges, tunnels, slides and climbing walls. It leads the way in timber play. If it’s bad weather kids can still enjoy riding mini tractors in the barn. The outside play area is just as good for days when the weather is nice. It is a huge wooden structure in the shape of a castle with slides, towers, flags and more. They also have ride-on tractors from toddlers, upwards.
One of the things West Lodge does best though is celebrating the special times of the year; Christmas, Halloween, Bonfire Night, Mother’s Day and Summer campovers. Their themed activity days/weekends are really creative and ones to add to the calendar.
