Worthing Beach

Worthing Beach

The promenade, which is 5 miles long is a lovely walk, accessible for all, dotted with benches to sit on and enjoy the sunshine. As well as a Lido complete with amusements, rides and a bouncy slide. Further along the prom, you’ll find a wooden play park with lots to play on, including sand to play in.

The Lido has its own cafe. There are also various vans selling a range of food and drinks on most days. Opposite the play park is some lovely gardens which have a cafe and public toilets. Other toilets are available along the prom, on-street parking is widely available and the town also has several car parks which are a stone’s throw from the beach.

Speaking of the beach itself, Worthing Beach has pebbles and pockets of sand that can be found when the tide is right. You can walk along the beach which stretches for 5 miles, it has its own pier which again houses its own amusements, toilets and places to eat. The beach is a beautiful spot to enjoy an ice cream or indeed a dip in the sea!  Worthing is a fun, family-friendly place to visit with something for everyone.
