York Maze

York Maze near York is a seasonal, attraction and is only open from July until early September with select dates for Halloween. This is because the main attraction is a themed maize maze which has a trail where you have to find different things within the maze before you exit it. But it’s not the only thing at York Maze and you will be amazed at everything they have there. There are over 20 attractions and shows.

Things to do at York Maze

Highlights include a tractor ride unlike any other. You are towed in a big group and along the way you meet live actors that turn the ride into a pantomime-type show. You will most likely get wet but that just makes it even more fun.

They have crazy golf with ‘corns’ at the end of your club plus all sorts of other kids of mazes. Other mazes included a Jurassic World maze where you can find lots of fun dinosaurs to pose by, a fortune-telling maze, a mineshaft maze, a musical maze, a house of confusion and a maze of illusions.

Plus there’s a climbing wall (sideways), animals, and birds that you can meet. Remote control boats at £1 a go, shows and an inflatable obstacle course. Plus a playground with sand and water play. They also have lots of great slides including one at the top of a ‘Volcorno’.

They also have fun quad bikes that are £1 extra each, bouncing pillows and lots more water play where you can battle against each other and more.

Is there food and drink available?

There is a choice of places to eat on-site selling hot and cold food and drinks. You can picnic outside.

What are the main things to do?

A wide variety of fun and different mazes and maize mazes. Epic slides, shows, tractor rides with shows along the way, inflatables, play areas, quad bikes and more. There are toilets on-site and a cafe.

What are the ticket prices?

Tickets must be purchased online and start from £16.95 per person. Under 3s are free.

There is free parking.
