The Blue Lagoon Village is a beachfront all-inclusive resort in Kefalos, on the island of Kos in Greece. The hotel sits directly on a long sandy beach in a secluded bay, giving families instant access to the sea. It’s also well placed for exploring the area, sitting 10km from Kefalos village and 30km from Kos Town. The resort is around 7km from Kos Airport, making transfers quick and easy. It’s a peaceful, coastal location with everything centred around the beach, pools and wide‑open sea views.
Highlights
Its biggest draw is the beachfront setting in a secluded bay, giving guests direct access to a long sandy beach. The resort is designed like a mini‑village, with accommodation spread across 31 low‑rise buildings and options that include swim‑up family rooms and luxury private‑pool suites. Families love the choice of five pools, including a huge feature pool with built‑in water jets, plus a mini‑waterpark with slides for little and big kids. Your Board Basis
The Blue Lagoon Village is offered by TUI on an All Inclusive board basis, which includes buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner, plus access to several à la carte restaurants on selected nights. Guests can dine at the Italian, Chinese, Greek and Adventure Grill restaurants as part of the package, along with snacks at set times and selected local and international alcoholic and non‑alcoholic drinks served from 10:00–24:00. Drinks ordered after midnight come with an extra charge.
There is a wide choice of restaurants and bars. With seven restaurants, six of which are included in the All Inclusive package, covering Italian, Chinese, Greek and grill dining. The hotel’s restaurant list includes the Aegean main buffet, Golden Sun Chinese, Piazza Italian, Mythos Taverna, Adventure BBQ, Ocean Restaurant, and the Thalassa & Sushi Restaurant (this one is not part of All Inclusive). Bars include several pool bars and evening venues such as the Wet Pool Bar and others positioned around the resort, giving guests plenty of places to enjoy drinks throughout the day.
Activities
The resort offers five pools, including a large feature pool with built‑in water jets, plus both an activity pool and a relaxation pool. For families, there’s also a mini‑waterpark with slides for little and big kids, giving children plenty of splash time without needing to leave the hotel. Because the resort sits directly on a long sandy beach, you’ve also got easy access to the sea for swimming and waterside relaxation.
Beyond the pools, there’s a full spa, sports courts, and spacious grounds designed for walking and exploring. With its beachfront setting, multiple pools, and dedicated slide area for children, the Blue Lagoon Village is set up for families who want a mix of relaxation and active fun all in one place.
Entertainment
During the day, guests can join in with a wide mix of activities, including team games, sports sessions, fitness classes and poolside activities. With the resort’s beachfront setting and multiple pools, there’s always something going on around the grounds, whether you prefer something active or more relaxed.
In the evenings, the hotel runs a varied entertainment schedule with shows, live performances and family‑friendly events held across the resort’s venues. For children, the hotel features a full TUI KIDS’ CLUB, run by trained, English‑speaking childcare staff and designed for ages 3 to 12. Sessions run at least five days a week and include creative activities, themed sessions, team games and supervised play, giving little ones plenty to enjoy while parents relax.
Room Options
The resort is laid out like a mini‑village, with 447 rooms spread across 31 low‑rise buildings, giving it a spacious, relaxed feel rather than a high‑rise hotel environment. Families can choose from standard family rooms, larger family suites, and bungalow‑style rooms, many of which offer extra space, separate sleeping areas, and easy access to the pools or beach. This makes it ideal for families who want room to spread out and a quieter, more private setting.
One of the biggest highlights for families is the availability of swim‑up family rooms and luxury private‑pool suites. Swim‑up rooms give you direct access to a shared pool from your terrace, perfect for families who want easy, all‑day water access without trekking across the resort. The private‑pool suites offer even more exclusivity and are great for families who prefer a quieter, more premium experience. With modern interiors, plenty of space, and family‑friendly layouts, the accommodation at Blue Lagoon Village is designed to suit everything from young families to those travelling with older children or teens.
All accommodation includes air conditioning, a private balcony or terrace, a refrigerator, a flat‑screen TV, a safe, and blackout curtains to help everyone sleep well. Bathrooms are modern and come with either a bath or a shower, depending on the room type.
