Adventure Valley – County Durham

Event – Dino Discovery Adventure About – Imagine being transported back over 140 years ago to the golden age of dinosaur discoveries during the American Wild West and Victorian Britain. See up close and personal some of the most fearsome prehistoric animals of all time! T. Rex, Triceratops, Stegosaurus and Allosaurus and be invited to handle fossils and hear stories from the American West…plus much more.

Event – Easter Celebrations About – Be a good egg and hop along to Beamish for a cracking day out, with plenty of Easter-themed events to take part in around the museum.

Belsay Hall – Northumberland

Event – Easter Adventure Quest About – Join us for a cracking adventure quest at Belsay Hall this Easter holiday. Hunt for clues in the gardens, track down the Easter eggs and get rewarded with a tasty chocolate treat. You can take on the quest every day of the school holidays, and it costs just £2 to take part. This is on top of the ticket price.

Cragside – Northumberland

When? 29th March – 1st April

Event – Easter Trail About – Hop to Cragside for a cracking time along the Easter trail. There are ten activity stations to find. The kids can test out their balancing skills on the egg and spoon obstacle course, play a giant game of noughts and crosses, fill the tree in the Stables with paper blossoms and take a springtime selfie. Once the trail is complete, the children can collect their chocolate egg from the team. Pick up your trail packs from the visitor centre.

Gibside – Tyne and Wear

Event – Easter Egg Hunt About – Make your way along the trail and find nature-inspired activities for the whole family. Come along and explore the beautiful landscape of Gibside. Prices are £3 per trail which includes an Easter trail sheet, bunny ears and dairy or vegan and Free From* chocolate egg.

Our Easter Egg Trail at High Force has become a popular event for families to come and enjoy the hidden treasures nestled within the extraordinary landscape of our woodland trail.

Event – Spring Trail About – Test your problem-solving skills and navigation on an adventure around our ground and gardens with Ruby the Rabbit this Spring! The Paxton House Spring Trail is back for the school holidays. Pick up a trail map in the Gift Shop before you start. Pre-booking is not required, £4 per child and adults need a grounds pass. Dog and pram friendly.

Raby Castle – County Durham

Event – Eggcellent eggs in the Plotter’s Forest About – Families are invited to find the colourful eggs hidden in the forest, with puzzles to play along the way. The Plotters’ Pantry is the perfect pit stop before heading off to explore the Estate further, with delicious treats to fuel further adventures. Look out for the eggs along your way but don’t forget to look for the mysterious clues of rabbit food… each carrot will spell out the Easter Bunny’s name! In the neighbouring Deer Park, with a trail sheet in hand enjoy the farmyard family fun trail – discovering the farmyard animals along the way.

Wallington Hall – Northumberland

Event – Easter Egg Hunt About – Explore the Easter trail around the Courtyard and West Wood with lots of fun activities to do along the way. Have a go at target practice, get creative with wild art, make some nature-inspired music, have a game of hopscotch and take part in a spotters challenge. Come along and explore the beautiful woodlands of Wallington. Prices are £3 per trail which includes an Easter trail sheet, bunny ears and dairy or vegan and Free From* chocolate egg. *Suitable for people with milk, egg, gluten, peanut and tree nut allergies.
