A great choice for families is the Elba Lanzarote Royal Village Resort. It is located just 900 metres from the resort centre of Playa Blanca. This is one of Lanzarote’s biggest and best-loved resorts. It has a smart marina great for dining and a promenade filled with excellent seafood restaurants. There are nearby shopping centres and a trio of beaches all with a hilly volcanic backdrop. The main airport is a 32-minute coach transfer away from the hotel. It is also well located for the Timanfaya National Park which is 10km away.
Highlights
The hotel has a huge outdoor swimming complex which has four pools that are connected by bridges. Around the pools, you will find plenty of sunbeds and parasols. Two of the pools are freshwater and the other two are saltwater. One of the pools is heated from November until April and the kids pool has some fun slides and a splash area.

Your Board Basis
You can choose from 3 different board packages. These are all-inclusive, full-board and half-board. The all-inclusive package includes a buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner. Plus snacks at set times, local-branded alcohol, soft drinks, tea and coffee. The buffet restaurant offers al fresco dining and has show-cooking stations and a different theme every night. In the evening there is an a la carte brasserie and Italian. If you are staying seven nights or more you get one dinner in one of these restaurants included in your stay. There is also a lobby bar and a pool bar.
Additional Activities
Other facilities include a playground, football, boules, beach volleyball and tennis. Plus there is an indoor play area, arcade machines, foosball and table tennis. In the daytime, you can take part in team sports, family and water-based activities.
For adults, there is the Thalasso Spa with a spa pool, sauna, Turkish Bath and an ice fountain. You can join in with fitness classes and there is a gym with a good selection of fitness equipment.
Entertainment
There are two separately run kids’ clubs; one for ages 4-7 and the other for ages 4-12. In the summer months, there is a teen’s club for ages 13-17. Kids also have their own cinema. All the family can enjoy the evening entertainment in the hotel’s theatre.

All of their rooms come with Wi-Fi, a TV and air-conditioning. There are family rooms that can sleep up to 4 people, junior suites that can sleep up to 3 people and other room options that can sleep up to 4. All rooms have a terrace and some feature a lounge area.
