Gran Castillo Tagora is packed full of fun for all the family. It is located next to a beach and is 3km away from the resort centre of Playa Blanca. This is considered one of Lanzarote’s biggest and best-loved resorts. It has a smart marina with places to enjoy a drink and the promenade is lined with seafood restaurants. There are shopping centres nearby plus three beaches that have a hilly volcanic backdrop.
Highlights
There are a couple of massive pools which have saltwater and beach-style entry. All pools are surrounded by spacious terraces with sunloungers and parasols. You can stay refreshed at the poolside bars plus adults have their own pool. In the kids splash park there is a choice of slides including a dragon’s tail one that takes centre stage.

Your Board Basis
You can stay on a half-board basis or all-inclusive. The all-inclusive package includes a buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner. There are snacks at set times plus selected local-brand alcohol, soft drinks, tea and coffee. You have the option to dine outside or inside at the large buffet restaurant. There is also an Italian restaurant and a few bars to choose from.
Additional Activities
Sports-wise there is a multi-purpose court plus volleyball. The kids have an outdoor playground. For adults, there is also a Spa with a pool and a thermal circuit with hot and cold plunge pools, a steam room and a hot tub. You can also work off the holiday excesses in the on-site gym.
Entertainment
The hotel-run kids’ club is great for your little ones. It has four separate activity areas for children aged 4-12. There is a ball pool, an arts and crafts area, a mini-football pitch and an interactive area with video games and virtual games. In the evenings there is an entertainment programme plus a 5D cinema and a mini disco.
