The Hotel Riu Palace Santa Maria is a beachfront property located near Sal on the tropical island of Cape Verde. This destination is a favourite with savvy travellers; those who don’t want to book their family vacation in the better-known and more crowded holiday spots, but who also refuse to compromise on fabulous weather, beaches, and facilities. There is a waterpark on-site, which is packed with colourful slides, sprinklers, and tipping buckets. There are also six other pools around the property including one that features a mini water park for younger guests and also a heated indoor splash pool, located within the spa area.
Two of the outdoor pools have super cool swim-up bars meaning you don’t even need to leave the refreshingly cool, pool waters to enjoy your favourite cocktail or mocktail!

Your Board Basis
The Hotel Riu Palace Santa Maria is a 24-hour All Inclusive hotel. This includes buffet-style breakfast, lunch and dinner and the main restaurant hosts themed buffet meals three times a week.
You can also opt to enjoy a poolside grill at lunch instead as well as perhaps choose to eat dinner at the Japanese, fusion, Italian and steakhouse restaurants which are all onsite. All of these do require prior reservations.
Selected local-brand and imported alcohol, soft drinks, tea and coffee are available 24 hours a day and in-room drinks optic with branded premium spirits, and a regularly restocked minibar all feature as perks for guests here.

Being so close to the beach means that the hotel is also able to offer a whole array of water sports equipment for guests to use so they can try out snorkelling, kayaking and body boarding.
