Kids will love spending time at a splash park or outdoor swimming pool this summer. They are such fun for little ones and there’s a great range of places to choose from in Lincolnshire, some are even free! Below you will find a list of 11 outdoor swimming pools and splash parks in Lincolnshire.

Most of these places are certainly somewhere you can spend a good two hours or more.

Billinghay and District Community Outdoor Swimming Pool

Open from mid-May until the end of August.
Prices: Adult and 10-15-year-olds £4,00, child 5-9 £3.50, Preschool £1, babies free and spectators just 50p.
Address: Fen Road, Billinghay, Lincoln, LN4 4HU.

About – The pool was built by the residents in the 1970s. It has a couple of small slides and is heated with changing rooms. Up-to-date opening times and prices can be found on their Facebook page.

Embassy Skegness Outdoor Pool

Open term time and weekends only. To see up-to-date pricing and opening times please follow this link.
Prices: Adults and children aged 5+ are £6.50 each. Children aged 3 & 4 are £1.50 and under 3’s are free. Spectators are £2.80 and discounts are available with a Magna Vitae card. Pre-booking may be essential during busier times.

About – In the heart of Skegness you will find the Embassy swimming pool. This has an indoor and outdoor heated pool. The outdoor pool is very popular in the summer months and they also have sun loungers outside and a shallow area for kids to paddle in. More Information

Fairy Dell Skegness Paddling Pool

Open from the end of May until late September (during the summer months). The Fairy Dell does not have a dedicated website.
Cost – FREE.

About – If you head to the top end of the boating lake away from the main hub of Skegness Centre you will find a tucked-away treasure. It has sprinklers and an ornamental fountain plus plenty of little pools to paddle in. It’s a really lovely spot. It has been open for 100 years now and had a major refurbishment back in 2006. Grantham Wyndham Park Splash Park

Open during the summer months. Usually from May-September.
Cost – FREE.

About – It includes a colourful dedicated traditional paddling area with a modern splash pad design and six play features and fountains. It is FREE to use. There is also a tea room, sensory garden, model boats and play areas.

Jubilee Park Woodhall Spa Outdoor Pool

Open from early April until late September. Please see their website for exact opening times and dates.
Cost – An adult all-day ticket costs £9.00 and £7.50 for a child aged 2-15. Under 2’s are free. There are limited tickets that can be purchased online in advance which is essential for a hot summer’s day.

About – Woodhall Spa has a lovely large outdoor heated swimming pool and paddling pool. Both are heated to 29oC. The kid’s pool has a giant fun tap and there’s a small kids slide in the main pool. It’s a great place to spend the day with an on-site cafe, plenty of grass for relaxing on and chairs available to hire. Please click here for further information.

Mablethorpe Queens Park Paddling Pool

Open from the end of May until the end of September. There is no dedicated website with exact information.
Cost: FREE
Address: Queens Park Lake, Mablethorpe LN12 2AY.

About – Mablethorpe’s paddling pool is located up at Queen’s Park. The paddling pool also has a splash area with sprinklers and fountains. You can rent a beach chalet nearby for a charge. There are other things to do at the park such as crazy golf, boating and a miniature railway.

Metheringham Community Outdoor Swimming Pool

Open times seem to be for the summer months. Further information can be found on their website.
Cost: You can purchase wristbands for 1, 2 or 3 hours for £3, £5 and £6 for an adult. Children under 15 are £1 cheaper than an adult and under 2’s are free.

About – This is a community pool run by a group of local volunteers. Metheringham swimming pool has been open since 1975. The pool was originally dug out with spades back in the day, by the villagers, who wanted the school children to have the opportunity to learn to swim. It is heated to a lovely 30oC.

Normanby Hall Splash Pad

Open during the summer months (from early May until the end of September).
Cost: You pay for admission to the house and grounds during the summer months. This is £8.00 per adult £5.00 for a child aged 5-16 and under 5’s are free.

About – This is a lovely and relatively new addition to Normanby Hall. There’s a playground for younger kids next to it with a small kiosk and picnic benches. There are plenty of fun things to play and splash in. There is also plenty of other things to do such as ride the land train, visit the farming museum, look around the house, play on their new playground and more. Scunthorpe Central Park Splash Pad

Open during the summer months. The park is open all year round but the splash pad is seasonal.
Cost: FREE.

AboutCentral Park has great facilities and activities for kids with an exciting children’s play area with trampolines. The fully accessible Splashpad is suitable for children from three to 12 years old and operates throughout the summer season. No dogs are allowed in this area.

There is a secure, fully accessible play area split into three zones for children of all ages with seating and grassed picnic areas: The centre zone features a wet play area, a sand pit and a junior play area with a variety of equipment suitable for children from two to six years old. Close by is a junior to teens zone with an impressive embankment slide and challenging climbing frame with monkey bars. The third zone is also suitable for juniors and teens featuring a zip wire and space nets on bark safety surfacing.

Sutton On Sea Paddling Pool

Open during the summer months. There is no dedicated website.
Cost: FREE.
Address: High St, Sutton on Sea, Mablethorpe LN12 2ET.

About – This paddling pool is located near the main entrance to be beach and near the beach huts. It has water fountains and fun features.
