Located in the lively centre of Benidorm in Spain’s Costa Blanca is the Magic Aqua Rock Gardens. It is a great option for families because of its waterpark and the fact it is situated close to the waterfront. The main Levante Beach is just 150m away and local bars and restaurants are also to be found nearby. Benidorm actually dates back to 1325 and still has some cobbled streets in the old town and a Baroque-domed church. The airport of Alicante is a 90-minute transfer away which includes a minibus and a coach to get to your destination.
Highlights
The pool scene takes centre stage at this hotel with a main pool that has a huge cinema-style screen suspended above the water. They even have sunbeds in the water for the best and most relaxing view. From May to October this pool also has waterslides that the guests can use. If it’s nice weather over Easter the waterslides are also open during this time.
Magic Aqua Experience is the on-site waterpark with a handful of waterslides some of which have a height limit. Children also have their own splash park with slides and fountains.

Your Board Basis
The board at this hotel is on an all-inclusive basis. Included is a buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner. There are snacks at set times and unlimited self-service drinks in restaurants. Plus there are unlimited top brand drinks in their bars (except for Champagne, cava and reserve wines). One pool has a swim-up bar and there is also a pool snack bar.
Additional Activities
Older kids will love the Game Experience room. There are also some arcade machines, billiards, darts and Ping Pong. Adults have a spa with a small charge. This has a hot tub, ice fountains, a sauna and a Scottish shower. Plus there is an on-site gym.
Entertainment
For little ones aged 4-12, there is a themed kids’ club. They also have fun-filled discos and magic shows in the early evening. Later on, there are live musicians, have-a-go karaoke sessions and dances.
Room Options
Double rooms sleep up to 4 people and enjoy a view of the pool. All rooms have air conditioning, a mini-fridge, tea or coffee-making facilities and Wi-Fi. Please note that rooms at this hotel do not have a balcony.
