With a slightly elevated location at the edge of the village of Playa Blanca is the Hotel Paradise Island in Lanzarote. The hotel has plenty of facilities for those that enjoy the water and there is a TUI Kids club during the summer. It is just a 5-minute drive to a beach, a 10-minute drive to a shopping centre and 45 minutes to Lanzarote airport. The hotel has a free bus shuttle service to Playa Dorada Beach that runs several times a day. This is a 300-metre-long Blue Flag beach with golden sand.
Playa Blanca is one of Lanzarote’s biggest resorts. There is a smart marina with places to eat or enjoy a cocktail. Behind the village is a hilly volcanic backdrop and it has a trio of beaches.
Highlights
The main swimming pool is shaped like a big splat of paint and it has a shallow version next to it for children. There are sunbeds and parasols dotted around. Dino Park is the on-site waterpark which has seven slides and a kid’s zone with fountains, tipping buckets and more.

Your Board Basis
The board at the Paradise Island Hotel is all-inclusive. This includes a buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner. There are snacks at set times and select local-brand alcohol, soft drinks, tea and coffee are also included. In the themed buffet restaurant, different cuisines are served such as Italian, Chinese and Indian. The pool has a bar and there is also a bar in the lobby.
Additional Activities
Next to the waterpark, there is a scaled-down go-kart track. Other facilities include a tennis court, playground for the kids, aerobica and bike hire. In the wellness area, adults can choose from a range of massages and pamper treatments. Some facilities may have an additional charge. There is a mini-market on-site.
Entertainment
In the summer children can take part in the TUI Kid’s Club. This offers everything from disco nights to parent and baby sessions. The club is run six days a week with Minis for 3-6-year-olds and Maxis for 7-12s. There is also entertainment in the evenings.
Room Options
One and two-bedroom apartments are available at this hotel. One-bedroom apartments come with a separate bedroom and there is a living area with a TV. There is also a fridge, microwave, kettle and more. TUI guests will receive access to both types of free Wi-Fi offered at the hotel.
