Cadwell Park
Cadwell Park is a motor racing circuit in the heart of Lincolnshire close to Louth. We haven’t been since my son was a toddler but it’s a really unique day out and certainly family-friendly. Race days are noisy though so do be aware of this if you are taking little ones.
The circuit is set in the hills in open parkland. It is a bendy circuit and there are many good vantage points where you can sit on the hill and overlook the circuit. If you want to get closer to the action you can reserve grandstand tickets near to the start/finish line. Do be aware that these seats are very close so they are a lot noisier than if you sit back on the hill.
They host a great number of events, throughout the year such as British Superbikes (what we went to see). Plus other events, such as the Historic Sports Car Club’s Wolds Trophy and the popular Vintage Sports-Car Club Festival. Along with vintage and classic motorcycle events and spectacular rallies plus many more. Their events are either car or motorbike-based. There is always somewhere to purchase food and drinks during these events and there are toilets available.
