Northern Experience Wildlife Tours is based in Choppington, Northumberland. They run a variety of popular wildlife tours throughout most of the year. Families are welcome on their tours.
They have an otter mini safari where you will search for this elusive and beautiful predator. Tours run just after sunset so your chances of seeing an otter are maximised. You will visit their best sites and learn more about their remarkable recovery from near extinction in England.
Another tour takes you to Druridge Bay which starts from a pre-arranged meeting point and lasts for 3-4 hours. You will explore the nature reserves and see the local wildlife. They also run tours to the Farne Islands when Avian flu restrictions aren’t in place. Plus tours to Lindisfarne where you will meet in the car park on the island and this tour lasts for 3-4 hours.
For the stargazers in your family, they also run a great number of Dark Skies events, including astronomy for absolute beginners, dark sky discovery, nightscape photography and more. Plus they run workshops and more.
