Muckleburgh Military Collection

The Muckleburgh Military Collection is located in Weybourne, Norfolk. The museum is situated on a former military camp on the North Norfolk coast. It was first opened as a museum in 1988, and it is the largest privately owned military museum in the UK.

There is an extensive range of tanks and armoured cars that are maintained in working condition. Other exhibits include artillery, machine guns and missiles. Plus, there is a collection of ships and land warfare models. There is an outdoor play and picnic area available for visitors located near the cafe. This are can be accessed from the Cafe, roughly located around halfway through the Museum.

Also in the museum, there is the Suffolk and Norfolk Yeomanry collection, which includes uniforms, weapons, photographs and documents. A number of the vehicles are demonstrated in action from time to time. For those who can drive, there are bookable tank driving experiences at a cost of £150 pp.

Adults £15, children aged 4-16 £10 and under 4s are free.
Prices are subject to change. They accept cash and cards. You can’t book tickets elsewhere online or in advance at present

Dog friendly?

Dogs are not permitted in the Museum, which has kennels where visitors can leave their dogs. A padlock is provided at the Shop for a £5 returnable deposit. Water and a dog bed are also available.

Are they accessible?

 The museum provides disabled access, making it a suitable attraction for visitors with accessibility needs.
