Alton Towers Waterpark

Alton Towers Waterpark

The waterpark at Alton Towers Staffordshire is a separate attraction which you must purchase a ticket for. It is located within the Splash Landing Hotel but you don’t need to be a guest to be able to use the waterpark as anyone can visit if they’ve prebooked a session.

What is there to do at Alton Towers Waterpark?

There’s so much fun to be had in the water at Alton Tower’s waterpark. You can drift along a lazy river, get soaked by their water cannons or have a ride on their Master Blaster water coaster. There’s a lovely splash area for smaller children with lots of interactive water play. Plus the Wacky Waterworks treehouse has over 70 interactive water features to try.

There is even an outdoor area with a tropical pool and an outdoor flume. If it’s cold outside head for the bubbly wubbly pool where it’s so warm you will see the steam rising. Other slides include Rush ‘n’ Rampage. These are two slides which you sit in rubber rings to go down. They are high speed and one is interactive where you can select your own music and light themes. Are you brave enough to stand under the tipping bucket? A bell signals the time for 1000 litres of water to come cascading out. Don’t forget to take a 20p piece for their lockers and everyone must wear swimwear.
