Things to do at Birdworld review
Birdworld near Farnham in Hampshire is the biggest bird park in the UK. It covers 26 acres and is home to a great variety of birds plus Jenny Wren children’s farm.
Birdworld is home to two penguin exhibits Penguin Island with a colony of Humboldt penguins and Penguin beach home to their colony of endangered African penguins. Opened in 2017 the Terry Pratchett Owl Parliament is a great place to see several owl species.
There are parrots housed throughout the park. Parrots in Flight is one of their largest aviaries and it is a great place for the birds to stretch their wings. They also have a walkthrough exhibit that is home to their flock of budgies and several of Australia’s other small bird species. Flamingo cove is also a relatively new addition and is home to their flock of, yes you’ve guessed it, flamingos.
The Jenny Wren Farm is a great place for families to get close to some of Birdworld’s fluffier residents with rabbits, pigs, sheep, reindeer and more. There is also a flying arena where you can see daily shows plus a wildlife garden and woodland walk. There are two outdoor play areas plus a willow maze and a safari train.
They offer penguin feeding experiences.
