The Canoe Trail in Kempston, Bedfordshire is a canoe, paddleboard and kayak rental service. They are an award-winning family-run business and as well as offering hire of their equipment they also offer tuition and wild camping at their woodland campsite.

They are located on the picturesque River Ouse and their hires range from full-day to half-day hire. You can hire their canoes for 1.5, 2 or 5.5 hours. They also offer special events, such as special Christmas paddles and more. There are options for circular routes or gentle paddles up and down the river. Their canoe and camp trips can be booked for 1 or 2 nights.

Paddleboarding is much easier than it looks and within 5-10 minutes most people are making headway. It’s a great way to see the river and enjoy paddling.
