Things to do at Cleethorpes Coast Light railway review

The Cleethorpes Coast Light railway runs along the coast line from south of Cleethorpes in Lincolnshire up into the centre of the town. There’s some lovely views out to sea along the way. At over 70 years old it is one of the oldest seaside miniature railways in the UK.

The steam train journey itself is around 2 miles long and it is a great transport link that connects the Cleethorpes Promenade to their main Lakeside station. There is also one of the smallest pubs in the world The Signal Box inn.

They host some really special events, including spooky Halloween trains, Santa trains and even Thomas the Tank engine event days where kids can ride on a Thomas pulled train and one of his friends.
