Things to do at Clip ‘n Climb Swindon review
Located in the Freedog activity centre near Swindon in Wiltshire is Clip ‘n Climb. With an eye-catching range of climbing walls great for families. No experience is necessary and there are plenty of fun challenges to keep you all healthy and active. The walls are bright and colourful and there is something to suit all abilities with some walls being more challenging than others.
The centre has a number of climbing walls to try, there are exciting challenges available for all abilities. They also have a couple of special attractions the Stairway to heaven and the Drop Slide. A climbing session lasts for around an hour. You will also need to allow additional time for getting your harness fitted plus you will have a safety briefing about how to use the equipment. (duration of this varies).
All the walls have an auto billet system that stops you from falling meaning no one needs catching and it’s easy to lower yourself back down to the ground. Supervisors are close at hand at all times. Their standard sessions are suitable for all climbers aged 5-6 years plus. The centre has a soft play area for children under 5 years of age. It is a massive padded floor space filled with soft toys and blocks for them to get creative and play, there is a separate charge for this and they have plans to build an even bigger soft play area.
They can even host your child’s birthday party with packages that include climbing, food and drink.
Please note – Most places may still require you to pre-book online in advance. Some venues also still have certain areas closed for safety reasons. Please check their website and/or social media pages before visiting.
