Things to do at Dinton Activity Centre review

Dinton Activity Centre is an outdoor activity centre located at Dinton Pastures Country Park in Hurst, Berkshire. They have a range of activities most of which are on the water.

Boat hire includes their range of pedalos, paddleboards, canoes, single and double kayaks. You can book for half an hour or upwards of that. The 94-acre lake is great for enjoying the sunshine and trying something new. Children must be 2 years old to go on one of their pedalos. There may be age restrictions for the other activities.

They run holiday clubs during most school holidays. These include sailing clubs, wild days and welly days. They also offer family taster sessions and bespoke tuition. There is also the opportunity to take part in navigation and orienteering activities which are either self-led or instructor-led. You can also hire 4 seater nature buggies. Two people can pedal and there are an additional two seats up front.

There is a static climbing wall on-site. It is 12 metres high and there is also a high ropes tower with 7 different activities for children and adults. Most of the activities require teamwork and are led by their instructors. You can also have a go at abseiling and their zip wire. Climbing is suitable from 6 years, abseiling from 8 years and their zip wire from 6 years.
