Things to do at GreenWood Family Park review
Things are a little different at GreenWood Family park in Gwynedd, North Wales right now. They are open again but with plenty of sanitising and social distancing in place plus a few attractions will remain closed. They are also limiting numbers.
There are a few rides at the park. Green Dragon roller coaster has a minimum height of 97cm. It’s not too scary but lots of fun. Solar splash is a solar powered water slide ride. Children under 3 or under 95cm are not allowed to ride. Plus an enchanted river ride where you control the boat along a river. There’s an oar and ropes to help you along, we had a right laugh on this ride.
Woodland rovers is a great opportunity for kids to drive their very own 4×4. Kids aged 6-11 can drive themselves around a woodland. My son loved the MoonKarts and went on them three times. They are pedal-powered and you steer with levers.
Other activities include longbow archery. a large web to climb up, den building, tree-top towers play area, tunnel warren and a Snowdon viewpoint. There is a big and little green run where kids sit in a sledge and zoom down a fake grass slope. Sadly my son had a nasty accident on this and badly grazed his knee. We also saw another kid come off but plenty didn’t. The response was fantastic and first aid were called before I even got to him.
Attractions that are currently closed due to covid 19 – Giant Jumper pillow, enchanted woodbarn, dragon maze, barefoot walk
