Things to do at Laser Quest Derby review
Laser Quest Derby is located in Pride Park on the outskirts of the city centre. Said to be like living a computer game it is zero contact, mess-less high tech fun using infrared equipment. For ages 7 years and over (minimum height 1.1m) it’s a great family-friendly adrenaline-pumping game.
Stalk your opponents and then unleash a volley of laser fire on them. Combine your hide and seek skills to be the ultimate winner. Kids will love the futuristic-looking laser guns. The game is played in a purpose-built multi-level arena. There is a large glow in the dark maze which makes it hard to follow players. There are plenty of corners and other things to hide behind.
Full briefings and all the equipment you need are provided. Players can compete in 20-minute sessions from team to solo games. Scores are displayed on monitors at the end of the game with each player receiving their own scorecard.
They also offer birthday party packages where you can have food or no food plus they have a party package that includes exclusive hire.
There is also a climbing wall at this venue. It is Derby’s only augmented climbing wall and it is a new, exciting and immersive game platform that offers a range of gameplay. Plus there is the Galaxy Quest Adventure golf. Galaxy golf is out of this world, full of unique obstacles and structures for you to enjoy. Each hole has been created to suit people of all ages and abilities and should test the skills of even the most seasoned golf pro! Prices are separate to Laser Quest.
