Things to do at Marsh Farm review

Marsh Farm is an open farm area in South Woodham Ferrers, Essex. A fantastic place to visit, particularly for those with young families, Marsh Farm offers kids and adults the chance to get up close and personal with a wide range of farm animals,. Pigs, goats, cows and even a ‘unicorn’ and dinosaur can be found at the farm and there is ample opportunity to get involved and feed both the animals, outside and the birds in the aviary.

The site has changed greatly in recent years. From being a simple farm to becoming an all round action area for families. An indoor dining and play zone featuring an enormous soft play area and giant slides offer great appeal to the kids and is based alongside a reasonably priced but limited food offering in the restaurant. The soft play area itself is one of the best around and it is certainly worth leaving a little time to explore it with your kids when you have seen all of the animals,.

There are plenty of seasonal, activities and events, on at Marsh Farm too.  The tractor ride around the grounds offers kids the opportunity to take a tour of the grounds on a real tractor and to see all of the creatures and surrounding wildlife on the trip. The ride is free, , lasts around fifteen minutes and the kids on board are sure to love it.

There is now a great selection of outside play areas scattered between the animal enclosures. From carousel rides, toy tractors and games for small children all the way up to a crazy golf course for bigger kids Marsh Farm now offers something for everyone.
