Located on the Pier Head in Liverpool are the tourist boat trips run by Mersey Ferries. You can enjoy a range of cruises, ferries and amazing views of Liverpool and the Wirral.
The River Explorer cruise is a great 50-minute sightseeing tour. On the cruise, you will learn more about the fascinating history of the River Mersey while enjoying views of the world-famous waterfront. On the tour, you will be guided by expert commentary. At the Woodside terminal, you can also enjoy food and drinks from the Woodside Ferry Village. They have two Mersey Ferries. There is a traditional black, red and white boat plus the Dazzle Ferry. The eye-catching design was created by Sir Peter Blake as part of the First World War commemorations.
