Things to do at Robin Hoods Wheelgate Park review
This is a family theme park in Nottinghamshire where you will never run out of something to do. There is a sister park in Nottinghamshire (Wheelgate) which is bigger but this is cheaper and there’s still lots there. It has seen some improvements over the past few years including a huge wooden adventure playground.
There are plenty of indoor and outdoor rides. Indoors rides include electric cars, a launch tower, alien ride, swings, Outdoor rides include a train ride through the park, a mini coaster, carousel, bumper boats, mini pirate ship and more.
Other attractions include a climbing wall, an animal farm including lots of handling sessions, birds of prey, jumping pillows and a hedge maze. There’s a huge indoor soft play area plus a master blaster where you can shoot balls in a big arena at each other.
They have outdoor sand play plus a seasonal water park with slides and buckets. At Wheelgate there is even a mini colliery village with lots of mini buildings for kids to explore. There’s a church, pretend shop and more.
Outdoors you will also find crazy golf which is included in your ticket but perhaps could do with an upgrade. Also outside there are playgrounds dotted around and a large commando assault course with something for all ages to have a go at. They have lots of fun events throughout the year.
Covid 19 – Please check the website or social media of an attraction before visiting. Many places may be open differently and some remain closed. Reviews do not mention all of these changes or possible price changes. Most places still require you to pre-book online in advance.
