Things to do at Sandcastle Waterpark review
Sandcastle Waterpark is located in Blackpool Lancashire, near the Blackpool Pleasure Beach. It is the largest indoor waterpark in the UK. It has over 18 slides and attractions and an 84-degree tropical climate.
For thrill-seekers, there is the Master Blaster which is the longest indoor roller coaster waterslide, Aztec Falls, Sidewinder, Montazooma and Duelling dragons. For most of these flumes children have to be at least 6 or 8 years old and be strong swimmers.
There is a wave pool in Typhoon Lagoon. Children from 2 years can go on Thunderfalls flumes with more than 300 feet of twisting and turning. HMS Thunder splash is a marooned galleon with tunnels, treasure chests, slides and canons. This is suitable for children from 3-10 years. The Caribbean storm treehouse has a giant tipping coconut and lots of interactive water play elements.
Kids from 3-10 years can play in Fort Riptide with turrets and slides. Treetop Water Chutes is a multi-lane slide for children from 2 years of age. Families can also have fun on the Ushi Cushi river creek where water pulls you along an action river ride. You can upgrade your visit to include a VIP Tiki Cabana which is your own private space with a hot-tub, lunch delivered to you, reserved parking, fridge stocked with drinks, TV and more.
No need to worry about money as you can load your wristband with money and use it to purchase food and drinks. It even works with your locker.
Covid 19 – Please check the website or social media of an attraction before visiting. Many places may be open differently and some remain closed. Reviews do not mention all of these changes or possible price changes. Most places still require you to pre-book online in advance.
