Zen Sensory

Zen Sensory is a deluxe therapeutic sensory centre in Harrogate, North Yorkshire. It features four sensory rooms and they offer quality experiences for all ages and abilities. The entire centre is disability friendly.

Their full-access sessions give you access to all four rooms for 20 minutes in each room on a rotation basis. You can start in the lightroom with a great range of colourful lights. In the activity room, you can be suspended in the swing and enjoy some pet therapy with their guinea pigs or giant continental rabbit on the veranda.

Another room is their ultra-violet room which is a unique interactive room with a laser projector. The final room is their relaxing water room including a vibroacoustic waterbed. This includes sole use of each room.

They also offer baby and toddler sensory sessions which give you 1.5 hours to move freely between the four rooms. The groups are mixed but they are limited to 12 per group. They can also host your child’s birthday party with 5 different themes on offer.

Is there food and drink available?

There is no cafe. All sessions include complimentary tea/coffee/squash. You are welcome to bring your own food to eat in the activity room only.

What are the main things to do?

Venue with four different sensory rooms including lights, small animals, ultra-violet light and water room. There are toilets and drinks.

What are the ticket prices?

Full access sessions up to 6 children in your group £20-30. Baby and toddler sessions are £10 per child.
