SEA LIFE Centre Weymouth

Weymouth Sea Life Adventure Park is located in the heart of Weymouth, Dorset in the Lodmoor Country Park. It is unique compared to other Sea Life Centres, as it is set across a 14-acre park with both indoor and outdoor exhibits, as well as a fantastic play area and outdoor splash park.

What is there to do at SEA LIFE Centre Weymouth?

Throughout the exhibits, there are lots of facts and information to read about the animals, you spot, as well as different talks and feeds throughout the day too. Weymouth Sea Life has a handy route mapped out to guide you through the park, to make sure you don’t miss out on any of the exhibits. Buildings are numbered to help you as well, but of course, this is just a guide and you are free, to explore however you wish.

Areas include Harbourside (native species), Rainforest, Penguin Beach and the Ocean Tunnel where you’ll see the amazing green sea turtles and sharks. The Rockpool is a fantastic area where you can see and even touch a starfish! ‘Caribbean Cove’ is Weymouth Sea Life’s fantastic adventure play area. There are sections for both older and younger children, although there isn’t much seating available for grown-ups to rest if your children want to spend hours playing.

During the warmer months, the splash park is open, featuring fountains to run through and a separate pool with a slide and drop bucket. There are changing facilities located right next to the pool and lots of seating around the outside. A must-visit during the warmer months! Towels, swim nappies and suncream can be purchased in the gift shop if you aren’t prepared on the day. I would allow at least 3/4 hours if you want to visit both the park and splash park. You could enjoy just the Sea Life itself in 2.
