Cinema Overview

Located in a retail and leisure area outside of Dudley and close to the Black Country Living Museum is the Showcase Cinema Dudley. It is a modern multiscreen cinema with digital projection and sound equipment. This venue is part of a relatively large chain of Showcase cinemas and they have 14 screens in total.

This cinema shows the latest movies for young and old plus old classics and more. The cinema is fully air-conditioned and their films are shown with Dolby Digital Sound. They also have an XPlus screen which is a giant wall-to-wall screen with the next generation in projection to give the best and brightest picture, plus Dolby Atmos sound.

This cinema shows some films in RealD 3D where the action reaches right out to your cinema seat. Their reusable 3D glasses can be purchased when you visit and they can be used on future visits to Showcase Cinemas. They also show films in 2D.

At this cinema, you can purchase drinks and snacks for the film including a Costa Coffee and Ben and Jerry’s ice cream. This cinema offers Baby Pictures screenings with lower volume and more plus autism-friendly screenings. There is even a party room and they can host your child’s birthday party.
