SnowDome

The SnowDome in Tamworth, Staffordshire is a multi-sports venue with an indoor snow skiing and snowboarding centre, an ice rink, a swimming pool, climbing and a gym.

Things to do at SnowDome

As well as being able to take part in skiing and snowboarding you can also book lessons. They have real snow all year round which provides the perfect real snow surface to learn and enjoy snow sports. They also have fun snow sessions which include tobogganing. You can take the travelator to the top of the 170-metre main slope and toboggan back down again. They also have a snow fun park that features a giant real snow slide. Families can play around in the snow, slide on the slide, throw some snowballs and climb and slide in the treehouse.

There is a relatively large ice rink and again lessons are available. There is a large outer rink where the more confident skater can skate and a smaller inner rink more suited to families and learners. Aids are available to hire out to help children around the ice.

The SnowDome climb is a fun-packed family climbing wall with 15 different climb lines with both 6 and 10-metre walls. No experience is necessary and children from the age of 4 can take part. There is also a swimming pool with a 25-metre pool, a junior pool, a toddler pool and a flume. Lessons are also available.
