Things to do Snowdonia Alpacas review

Snowdonia Alpacas is located in the stunning Snowdonia National Park in Blaenau Ffestiniog, North Wales. They are surrounded by mountains, woodland and wide-open spaces.

They offer alpacas walks which consist of an introductory talk, You are then introduced to your alpaca and shown how to halter and handle them kindly and safely. They then take you on a leisurely walk around their farm. There are lots of other friendly farm animals, to meet along the way including sheep, pigs and cattle.

Your experience will take around 2 hours with the walk taking about 40 minutes. There are some hills involved but you will take it all at a slow pace. If you don’t want to walk or have smaller children they also offer alpaca meet and greet experiences. This lasts for around 1.5 hours and you will be able to feed and pose for photos with the alpacas.

Children under 14 will not be allowed to lead an alpaca of their own and must have an adult holding the lead. Children must be 9 years of age or older to take part in their walks. Younger children are permitted to the meet and greet sessions only and must be accompanied by an adult.
