What is there to do at Wicksteed Park?
The theme park is almost 100 years old. They almost closed for good because of the pandemic so any support will be welcomed. Wicksteed Park today is much more than a traditional playground. It is full of exciting family-friendly rides some of which were invented by the founder of the park, Charles Wicksteed himself. These include his famous water chute and the way many modern log flumes are made today.
Some of the rides have a height limit. Rides at the park include a carousel, sway rider swings, a rollercoaster, a clown coaster, cups and saucers and dodgems. Plus a Ladybird coaster, mini jets, monorail, Mr Wicksteed’s cars, log flume, mini rangers and Wicksteed racer cars. Other attractions include a railway crazy golf, an Astro slide, a lake with watersports and a traditional playground. Plus Laser Xtreme, a treetop walk, sand and water play. There are also animals, you can see and meet.
