Wigfield Farm is a working farm in Worsbrough, South Yorkshire, that is open to the public. They are a base for horticulture and animal management courses. They have over 60 species of animals, including farm animals, and exotic animals, with a dedicated reptile house.

What is there to do at Wigfield Farm?

The farm is situated approximately 2 miles southwest of Barnsley. Their animals include meerkats, cows, goats, ponies, donkeys, alpacas, sheep, rabbits and more. They also have an aquatics room and a rodent room. There is a small outdoor playground.

The farm has a range of clubs including playgroups. singalong and sign sessions and teenage animal club. They also offer VIP animal experiences for an additional cost. They have a reptile experience, rabbit and guinea pig (minimum age 5) and young keeper experience (children 7-14). They can also host your child’s birthday party.

There is a cafe serving hot and cold food and drinks. You are welcome to bring a picnic.

An adult ticket costs just £3, children £1.50, a family ticket £8.
