In the heart of the Algarve in the centre of Quarteira is the Aquashow Park Hotel. It has a rural Algarve feel to it as the hotel is surrounded by Olive groves. If you want things more lively then the Blue Flag beach of Quarteira and the glitzy Vilamoura marina are just a 10-minute drive or taxi journey away.
The focal point of the local town is the beach and evenings here can be spent enjoying Portuguese cuisine or enjoying a walk along the palm-studded waterfront. Faro Airport is the closest airport which is a 30-minute coach transfer.
Highlights
At the main pool, there is a kid’s pool and plenty of loungers and parasols. Guests have unlimited access to Aquashow Park where there is a great range of slides with something for all ages. If you prefer a more relaxed holiday then they have a great lazy river to float around in. There is also a wave pool, a splash park and a log flume. The water park is open in peak season and unusually closes at the end of the first week in September.
When that closes there is the Indoor Aquashow that is located near the hotel. There is a charge to use this but there are indoor chutes and flumes plus spa experiences. The hotel has its own indoor heated pool.

Your Board Basis
Guests can choose to stay on either a bed and breakfast or a half-board basis. This is perfect for spending your evenings down at Quarteira. At the hotel Portuguese and International dishes can be enjoyed at the Restaurant Charme. For breakfast, there is a buffet and it’s just a 10-minute walk to the local restaurants. The lobby bar and pool bar serve a range of drinks.

At the Aquafeeling Spa, you can choose from a range of treatments. Also for adults, there is a gym and hot tub. The reception at the hotel is open 24 hours a day.
Entertainment
Rather than a kids club this hotel has a kids’ play room. This is for children aged 3-12 and it has a soft play area, a TV and a movie area. This playroom is unsupervised by the hotel. In July and August, you can enjoy nightly entertainment. This may include karaoke, live music and dance workshops.
