An absolute must for us when we go on holiday is to have two bedrooms. For us, it’s to separate us from the snorer in our family yet still be ‘together’. For others it’s so the adults can have a room separate from the kids but to not be off somewhere separate from each other.

Cyprus is a great island when it comes to family-friendly hotels and we have selected our top choice of hotels with 2-bedrooms by looking at reviews and facilities. There is a great choice with a diverse range of hotels and hopefully something for everyone.

If you’re looking for an island packed full of stunning beaches, historical sites, great food and family days out then look no further than Cyprus. Oh, and the weather is great as well, especially during the spring and summer.

TUI Blue Atlantica Mare Village – Paphos

Hotel Information – A great choice for families with multiple kids’ clubs to pools for all ages is the TUI Blue Atlantica Mare Village. It overlooks the sea and is just a short drive from Paphos airport. Families will also love their 2-bedroom suites with a terrace which can sleep up to 6 people. They also have swim-up suites which can sleep up to 4 people but these do not have 2 bedrooms.

There are three outdoor pools, the main being a large figure of 8. Here there is a small children’s pool and there are two rectangular-style pools throughout the grounds. In the evening you can look forward to a mini-disco, live music and the possibility of fun evening games up to 5 nights a week.

Holiday Village Aliathon – Paphos

Hotel Information – The Holiday Village Aliathon is located near Paphos, Cyprus. Near to the hotel, there is a rocky beach which is 200m away plus the Aliathon Plaza is in front of the hotel. Their family rooms are one room with a separate area with a closing door for children to form 2 bedrooms. Their swim-up suites can sleep up to four people but these are not 2-bedroom suites. You can also book a 2-bedroom suite with a terrace that sleeps up to 6 people.

The main swimming pool is huge. It is located in the Fishing Village and it is 3,000 square metres in size. It is currently Cyprus’s biggest swimming pool! Plus there are a handful of other pools across the village including a new swim-up pool. Kids will love their all-action splash park with a pirate ship, small slides, plus jets and fountains to play in. There is also an indoor swimming pool that in the summer months is for adults only.

Hotel Information – Located on a sandy beach with some rocks is the Constantinou Bros Athena Beach Hotel near Paphos. There are three huge swimming pools, two of them have a whirlpool bath and one is just for adults. For families, they have interconnecting superior family rooms which have two separate bedrooms and have the added bonus of being swim-up rooms.

Plus there are executive two-bedroom suites with a sea view which can sleep up to 6 people and elite-class two-bedroom suites that sleep up to 5 people. You can also book two junior suites with one main entrance that has its own pool. Sports-wise there is a tennis court, table tennis and an 18-rink bowling green. Kids can unwind in the playground and also the games room.
