Hollycombe Steam in the Country

Hollycombe Steam in the Country

Hollycombe Steam in the Country is an outdoor attraction in Liphook, Hampshire. It is Britain’s largest collection of working steam with a traditional fairground, steam railways and woodland gardens.

There is a fairground where you can relive the excitement of the original white knuckle rides in their traditional steam-driven fairground. You can ride authentic steam-driven rides including “Razzle Dazzle” and “Mr Field’s Steam Circus” which is the world’s oldest mechanically operated fairground attraction. Other rides include a carousel, a steam yacht, a big wheel, a haunted cottage and steam swings. Plus swing chairs, other children’s rides and you can watch a Bioscope film.

You can take a ride on their steam railway through woodlands. There is a train ride that takes you high on the hill to the sandstone quarry where you can see some great views. There is also a miniature steam garden railway. The woodland gardens are a welcome break from the fairground. There is also a collection of road engines and steamrollers which you can see.
