Things to do at Mabie Farm Park review
Mabie Farm Park is a small amusement park with animals near Dumfries in Scotland. It has a variety of indoor and outdoor things to do and the farm park captures the essence and feel of an original working farm.
The farm park is set on 77 hectares and it was originally a dairy farm. You can help feed their animals with animal food purchased from the shop. In their outdoor paddocks, you can see ponies, horses, llamas, alpacas, pigs, goats and donkeys. They also have sheep and lots of different birds. In their animal barn, you can see their calves, pigs and other animals with their babies.
Indoors there is a fun straw barn with rope swings and bales of straw to play on. There is a play barn with a climbing wall, climbing frame, nets and ride-on tractors. Plus pets corner where you can handle and feed some of their smaller furry friends.
Outdoors there is a 4 lane Astroslide that is suitable for adults and children. There is a boating pond where you can take out one of their 2 or 4 seater pedalos. Plus there are go-karts for children 4 and over, quad bikes for children age 6 and over and a train. Other play areas include a bouncy castle and jumping pillows, grass slide, trampolines and a fort. There is also a play park with swings, a sandpit, aerial runway, toddlers play area and little Wendy houses.
They can even host your child’s birthday party.
