Pili Palas Nature World is a small hands-on zoo on the Isle of Anglesey in North Wales. It has a large bug and butterfly enclosure, play areas and other animals,. It is a great place to visit, especially if the weather is bad outside.

Indoors there is a tropical butterfly house with various species of butterflies and moths. They also have free, -flying birds such as zebra finches, Java sparrows and Roul roul partridge. Also indoors there is a free, flight birdhouse with macaws, cockatoos, parrots and more. Lizard land is home to a variety of lizards plus there are meerkats and a huge variety of bugs.

In the pets corner, kids can cuddle their rabbits and guinea pigs. If you’re brave have a peek in their snake house with their huge Burmese python. There are also farmyard animals, indoors including pigs and goats. There is an indoor play zone with a smaller area for children up to the age of 3. Plus a larger soft play area for kids up to 1.4metres in height.

Outdoors there is Jungle Towers, a new play area with plenty to climb, slide, balance and play on including a double zip wire. There is a nature trail with a wildlife pond and bird watching hide. Plus a farmyard walkthrough and more play areas.

They can even host your child’s birthday party.
