Tropical Butterfly House Wildlife Conservation Park

This is a lovely wildlife park near Sheffield, South Yorkshire. There is plenty to see and do there.
What is there to do at Tropical Butterfly House Wildlife Conservation Park?
There are now 2 indoor houses- The Butterfly House and the Bird House. Inside the Butterfly House, as well as butterflies there are caimans and iguanas, stick insects and leafcutter ants, plus a variety of tropical plants. The Bird House has a variety of tropical birds, plants, armadillos and terrapins, it also has two ponds.
Outdoors they have other animals to find such as farmyard animals. Lemurs which you can go inside their enclosure during feeding time, meerkats and more. There is a trail around the park with dinosaurs that make noises when you press a button, plus displays that shoot water. We love the wilderness walk with wallabies and the witches’ house that can be found on the trail. The bird displays are excellent and well worth watching.
Play equipment includes peddle bikes and coin-operated quad bikes plus a ride-on area with sand for toddlers. There is an outdoor play area which has been nicely themed. Behind the play areas, you will find picnic benches, hammocks, outdoor games and a big sand and water play area. I recommend you bring a change of clothes. They have tractor rides at weekends, bank holidays and school holidays.
