A great affordable option for enjoying a holiday in the UK with kids is to book a lodge or caravan holiday at one of the numerous holiday parks. There are so many it can be a tough job choosing where to stay. We have a number of posts on our website to make choosing somewhere for you and your family that bit easier.
Haven is always a great starting point. They have almost 40 parks and they are packed full of so many facilities that you will often not want to leave the park. We look at some of the best Haven parks for families. Plus you can stay at a number of Haven parks with a touring caravan and some also allow tents. This post highlights those parks.
We have stayed at a number of holiday parks and we have reviews for some of them on our website. These include Reighton Sands and Primrose Valley in Yorkshire. Andrewshayes in Devon, Searles Leisure in Hunstanton and Ashbourne Heights in Derbyshire. Plus Deer’s Glade in Norfolk, Trevornick in Cornwall and Woodland Lakes Lodges near Thirsk in North Yorkshire.
Yorkshire is a great county to holiday in with a great range of days out plus there are some excellent holiday parks. ParkDean and Haven have some great sites plus there are a few other smaller sites for those not wanting the business of the larger ones.
Still in Yorkshire, we also have a post highlighting the best lodges and glamping accommodation with hot tubs plus the best glamping sites and also some of the most unusual places you can stay. We also take a look at caravan parks in East Yorkshire and North Yorkshire in more detail.
Another great county for caravan and holiday parks is Lincolnshire. We have at least 16 parks to choose from in this list including large Haven parks down to smaller glamping sites.
If you own a touring caravan or a motorhome or are looking for a great site to take your tent to we have a whole range of posts to help you choose your next caravan holiday.
